From a very early age I have always wanted to help people but instead of falling into the usual caring fields (nursing/teaching,) I fell into Retail and Administrative management. It was here where I discovered I can help staff develop themselves to be the best they can be, to deliver the best possible services to their clients.

A brand new store opened up in 2008, appointed Manager I ran the store with 6 casual staff members, mostly younger staff in University. Striving to meet sale KPI's as well as stay in allocated budgets, I also helped reduce theft in the store by 60%. I taught customer service to the casuals and empowered them to strive for success.

Captaining a team in Relay for Life to raise money to help assist the fight for cancer. Coordinating fundraising events, costumes, decorations and food to sell on the day. It is a fun event with positive outcomes.
