Work description and key responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize guidance and governance of social media activity internally and externally
-Coordinate content, assets and inventory between agency partners and internal departments
-Support development and execution of agreed communication concepts for campaigns
-Managing Telkom’s social media platforms across Telkom Group.
-Compile briefs to digital agencies on all social media and digital media buying requirements.
-Managing digital agencies by ensuring requirements are delivered within time, campaigns are optimized and reports are compiled and submitted to management.
-Building and maintaining relationships with key social & digital suppliers.
-Providing input to digital marketing strategies and roadmap.
-Identify and leverage communication and messaging to ensure optimum engagement on digital platforms.
-Brief supplier, manage production and approval process of all digital content and creative for social media and media banners.
-Ensure content is uploaded according to digital campaign planned process and deadlines.
-Ensure Telkom search phrases are visible and optimized on search engine website such as Google.
-Ensure quality score, CPC and CTR are within industry standards.
-Support internal business units with digital requirements.
-Identifying and review social media influencers every quarter.
-Ensuring the group social media policy is continuously updated.
-Social Media customer service teams are aware of new campaigns and content plans.
-Ensuring the social media SOC teams are trained and aligned to digital strategy.
-Tracking of digital budgets, providing digital monthly provisions and ensuring all invoices are processed.
-Ensuring we remain proactive in terms of latest trends in technology on all owned digital assets.
-Manage content and assets of Telkom digital magazine FutureNow as well as distribution
-Manage Telkom digital brochure deals.telkom.co.za
