Sierra Club

The Sierra Club exposed me to the world of politics. Through public hearings and events, I noticed the power of lobbying and the unjust preferences towards big money. Although, it wasn't all bad; I was introduced to Arizona's solar industry and had the opportunity to meet passionate and hard working individuals. The Sierra Club provided great networking opportunities and individual empowerment. Here, I was able to:
-Participate in public hearings
-Conference with Mesa city mayor on expanding the lightrail's route
-Coordinate and organize team meetings with Sierra Club manager
-Creation and brainstorming of climate change and solar energy oriented events and activism
-Cold calling Sierra Club members

A: You've changed.. I: I'd hope so.

Arizona State University

Bachelor's, Environmental and Resource Management/ Engineering Mgt

My education has given me insight and tools to realizing that nothing is absolute. If anything, it's given me strength to at least attempt to be more honest with myself and the world to try to make it a better and fairer world. My bachelor's helped me understand the world's current view on environmental problems and how we're measuring that impact. I want to connect viewpoints

Universite de la Sorbonne

Diploma , Art history and French Language and Culture

Paris was a huge life changer and one that I am most proud of. I learned so much about art and how it has always been used to express, document and communicate through society and its movement. I learned a lot about myself. Deep down. I learned elementary French and was introduced to French Culture and its people. My brain was trained to think of language as a puzzle!

Mesa Community College

Associate's, Science

MCC gave me knowledge and empowerment. I researched abroad for the first time at MCC and it was an empowering and eye-opening experience! Through these researches, I was able to witness firsthand the environmental impacts on forests, their biodiversity, and society. It's the reason I pursued education, and grew passionate, in environmental studies and sustainability. I took courses in science, women in film, and photography. Through this, I was able to obtain an amazing and broad insight on life and all it can offer!
