Merchandiser Providers Australia

Merchandiser

Under the expertise of Merchandise Providers Australia, I work for iconic brands and ensure their products receive excellent exposure through visual and field display with the goal of enticing the customer to purchase their brand in the face of competing brands. My role includes working closely with the retailer to ensure distributors get their products to market quickly and effectively in accordance with the merchandising plan including POG execution, resets and rollouts, pricing strategies (ensure markdowns or price changes are ticketed ) and POP merchandising.

My goal as merchandiser is getting the right merchandise, in the right place, at the right time, in the right quantities at the right price. Getting stock in-store involves planning and strategy. This includes collaborating with store management to coordinate stock delivery and desired placement with executing the merchandising project, and communicating with the distributor to ensure that POS materials are available for improved awareness and consistency across touchpoints. My role also implements inventory management to maximise product availability in sync with demand fluctuations, promotions, new roll outs, resets, out of stocks etc. This task is aligned with real-time feedback reporting to enable the distributor to deliver the right merchandise (styles, brands, colours, sizes etc) in the right quantities and at the right prices.

My role as merchandiser also involves communicating with store management to raise awareness of the best/worst selling products, styles, colours etc so that they can re-examine their purchasing plans. This task is critical for optimising sales and profits for both the brand (the distributor) and the retailer.
