Loyola University Maryland
August 2012 — Present
In August 2012, I began my position as a Resident Assistant at Loyola. While working closely together with a group of eleven other resident assistants and three supervisors, we plan programs, budget funds, and provide a safe community for our students. Together we supervise an area of over 400 residents, while I personally supervise a floor of 40 residents. I plan programs that spark conversations about personal, social, academic, and diversity issues to strengthen our community. I am available to speak with residents about personal, academic, and career path concerns while also directing them to the appropriate resources on Loyola's campus. I was awarded the Office of Student Life Unsung RA Hero award for the 2012/2013 academic year.
