Marketing Director

The Student Support office has over 1,500 volunteers a semester and host events that have a target attendance of over 4,000 students. I worked for them to create marketing campaigns for various campus wide events.

Responsibilities and tasks performed as Marketing Director:
• Designed marketing campaigns to raise campus-wide awareness of Student Support.
• Coordinated the progress and ensured dates were met on various campaigns.
• Performed a series of market research projects including surveys and focus groups.
• Analyzed data collected from market research projects.
• Communicated effectively with designers to create marketing materials.

Four Corners was a business created by myself and a team of 17 others students. We were located in the University's food court and it was a semester long business. As chief of marketing, I was heavily involved in the creation of the logo, branding, forecasting and promotions of the company.

Ask BYU-Idaho is the general campus information desk. We direct phone calls, update the online bulletin board, take chats that come in from the website, run the school's feedback operations and run the lost and found using the programs RepoApp and TeamDynamix.

As an employee of Ask-BYU-Idaho, I attend weekly training meetings, stay up to date with advancements that the school makes and am in regular contact with the various offices.

The communication council oversees materials intended for official BYU-Idaho marks or identity elements and have authority to approve projects that are based upon approved templates.

On the council, I specialize in marketing. I work with the various departments on campus to keep students up to date with events and upcoming opportunities via social media, websites, and on-campus advertising.

Visual Display Intern

As an Intern, I worked with the store visual team with the implementation of all display elements within a store- windows, signage, platforms, shelf uppers and jewelry cases as well as attended weekly management meetings.

I worked with many different materials and tools including but not limited to wood, saws, ladders, lights, sanding, sewing machines, hand stitching, various fabrics, paints, dyes and wiring.
