Emerging Technology Librarian

Develop emerging technology initiatives for the library and act as a liaison for emerging technology initiatives on campus.

Lab & Instructional Facilities Coordinator

Supervised all laboratory and technology classroom facility resources for the School of Informatics.

Developed and conducted workshops, seminars, and online tutorials for faculty, staff, and students in the use of technological tools. Some of these included HTML, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and digital video.

Supported users by developing digital and print training materials and providing one on one instruction when appropriate.

Managed access to the facilities according to school policy in order to balance the needs of the students as well as faculty in conjunction with the Informatics Lab Complex Use Committee.

Trained and supervised all graduate assistants, interns, and work study students assigned to these facilities, and participated in the hiring process.

Acted as a liaison between the School of Informatics and University technology support on issues relating to the facilities, including the installation, operation, coordination, testing, and troubleshooting of media and technology equipment of the lab and technology classrooms.

Served as a technical consultant for faculty committees to establish policies and procedures for use of the lab facilities, and plan for future development.

Provided technical support and oversight for the former departmental website in cooperation with the content manager, and make recommendations for future management for this resource.

Researched current updates in software and information technology and distributed as appropriate.
