• Primarily responsible for Jobs & Internships program
• Collect requests for placement assistance, recommend opportunities to scholars, and work with employers to place students
• Develop and maintain relationships with employers and follow-up with students during and after internships
• Act as an advisor to Regional Directors and assist with the recruitment of Directors and coordination of Regional activities
• Assist the Executive Director and Board of Directors in the identification, recruitment, cultivation, and management of volunteers
• Maintain current and accurate records for all correspondence and placements in Salesforce

Volunteer Services Specialist

• Responsible for volunteer on-boarding for Service to Armed Forces, Disaster Services, Preparedness Health & Safety, and International Services departments
• Ensure the volunteer program operations in compliance with national policies and procedures
• Work with department heads to determine needs and develop volunteer opportunities
• On-going volunteer recruitment and targeted recruitment for skilled volunteers
• Assist in developing volunteer position descriptions
• Oversee the screening and orientation process for volunteers
• Supervise general office volunteers and Volunteer Services volunteers
• Administer and maintain database and volunteer records
• Assist with annual volunteer recognition event and awards
• Assist with volunteer communication including monthly Volunteer Update newsletters

In a disaster, responsibilities include but are not limited to helping with deployment process including staff assignments and briefings, staffing local and regional Disaster Relief Operations, issuing staff cards, and assisting with intake of spontaneous volunteers.
