I am an action-oriented archivist whose passions include: find ing lost voices, transparently documenting history, and ensuring optimal access to archival re sources. I am passion ate about community outreach, archival rep resentation for the un derrepresented, public history, and digital hu manities.

As the accessioning archivist, I work with our collections management team to establish and implement best practices for collecting new materials. I also work with: office management, metadata standards, digital projects, and reference.

While at NCSU, I, largely, pursued my interests in archival studies while seeking additional courses in museum studies and traditional history. The dynamic history department at NCSU fostered my early interests in labor history and women's history, while encouraging me to pursue both person academic research and my long-term career goals.

As a Georgia Bulldawg, my bachelor's degree in English focused heavily on 18th century British women's literature, culminating in a directed reading course on the life and work of Mary Darby Robinson. I furthered my interest in British literature by studying abroad at Keble College, Oxford. My minors were theatre and history, focusing on women's history.

While at UNC, my passions for academic research, public history, archives, outreach, and education shaping the direction of my future career goals. UNC provided me the opportunity to earn a graduate certificate in digital humanities and pursue an interest in global librarianship by studying abroad at UCL, London.
