Strategist - Marketing Business Development

Business Development Strategist responsible for identifying new growth areas, segments, products, and emerging categories to integrate into our Verizon Wireless portfolio based on customer feedback, front-line employees, marketing research, and industry demands. Serve as the single point of contact for the South Area which encompasses the states of AL, AR, FL, GA, LA, MS, OK, NC, SC, TN, and TX.
Consult with internal and external business stakeholders to determine key concerns, challenges, and opportunities. Develop solutions and ensure implementation of these insights. Engage in contract negotiations with key strategic partners and conduct project management when required.
Utilize business analytics including segmentation, demographics, retail data, and outside sources, including Nielson, Current Analysis, Axiom, and Neustar.
