BScN RN Critical Care Nurse

Critical Care Float Team. Critical Care Nursing services in the ER, ICU and IMCU as needed on a self scheduled, shift by shift basis.
I decided to return to the ER as I have recognized that is where my passion is. I have gained an immense amount of knowledge about the logistics of the hospital on a practical basis and can take that appreciation back to the ER with me to share with co-workers. I have broadened my skill set, which is an invaluable asset in my Nursing career.

Upon completing the Emergency Nursing Program, I accepted a position at Cobequid Community Health Centre in the Emergency Department. It was a wonderful place to work but the schedule was difficult (as they are not open overnight), so I left after 6 months to take a position at Valley Regional Hospital Emergency Department , in favor of a better schedule, more conducive to a happier work/life balance.
