Managed, motivated and coordinated the entire summer program for a total of 500 teenage girls at Spelman College to expose these young ladies to a college lifestyle. Position focused on enhancing the quality of life in the residence halls, providing academic support, and being attentive to safety and security of residents.
Represented Spelman College at the “Lead Global Weekend” annual event geared towards providing a home base where a selective group of youth stay at an HBCU (Historically Black College or University) before going on a trip to South Africa which resulted in youth introduction to the college as well as a facilitated opportunity to learn about college life.
Collaborated and created a blueprint for future summer programs at Spelman College under the guidance of the Vice President of enrollment to enhance youth opportunities which resulted in a 15 percent increase enrollment applications.
Led discussion sections; proctored examinations; read and graded examinations, homework assignments and papers; assisted with general record keeping; helped with audio visual equipment as a Teacher’s Assistant.
