The Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for the organization and execution of manual and automated tests. The Quality Assurance Lead works on a daily basis with a team of QA Analysts on individual projects and monitors the progress of testing efforts within the team to ensure deadlines are met as well as communicates testing status to PM, Dev/QA Manager. Implement established QA processes and assist in developing QA best practices.
•Provide performance feedback to QA Manager
•Communicate successfully across functional teams and be able to represent QA
•Ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget
•Responsible for quality of product
•Write and execute test cases for assigned projects and also review team members test cases to ensure adequate test coverage and traceability back to requirements
•Analyze test results, recreate issues and create test reports
•Identify, assess, mitigate, and escalate issues impacting testing efforts
•Participate in product requirements and design reviews to ensure quality in product
•Assist QA Analysts with complex problems regarding testing approaches, application knowledge, and technical knowledge.
•Lead User Acceptance Test efforts; coordinate with the business users
•Provide guidance to QA Analysts for manual and/or automated tests
•Assist with building manual and/or automated/regression libraries
•Ensure processes are being followed using the designed toolset.
•Deep understanding of the current technologies, data models, application functionality and development process.
•Generate and report metrics
•Coordinate & communicate deployments to Production
