Hainer & Berman, PC

Legal Administrative Assistant

Was the legal administrative assistant to the senior partner. Prepared transcription which consisted of extensive client communication and case related documents. Maintained the attorney's calendar, scheduling client meetings and large financial seminars. The attorney to whom I provided support worked exclusively in the estate and financial planning sector. I had extensive direct contact with all clients, both in person and via telephone. In addition to preparing numerous complicated estate plan documents, I worked with the attorney in creating, compiling and drafting applications for various financial services, such as IRAs, annuities, life insurance, long term care insurance and other related products. In advancing the financial service aspect of the attorney's practice, I assisted him in presenting educational seminars on a monthly basis. My responsibilities in this regard included securing the venue for each seminar, sending out invitations to the seminars, compiling and following through on the responses from attendees. I compiled brochures of information to be given out at each seminar, and was in charge of greeting all attendees, signing them in, and organizing the seminar from the attendees viewpoint. As a follow through after each seminar, I was the initial contact for our new clients and ensured that their questions were answered and necessary information provided to them.
