Employment and Benefits Coordinator

- Conduct open enrollment periods for staff members (75 staff members)
- Administration of benefit programs including health, health savings, life and EAP
- Administering education and training on company polices and procedures
-Develop and create new on boarding program within Kinexus
- As well as developing new training curriculum
- And applying new online training videos for staff
- Recruiting for open positions up to 8 at a time
- Conducting phone interviews/ reference checks
- Scheduling interviews with candidates and hiring managers
- Instilling E-Verify to the HR department
- Maintaining HRMS system- terminations, status changes, temp employees, name changes etc.
- Managing Living our Values committee
- Manage FMLA, Short Term disability claims
- Attend various career fairs and events throughout the state

Summer Internship
- Manage up to 12 interns from May to mid August
- Recruit top talent all over the U.S. to come work for Kinexus for the summer
- Building and establishing a talent pipeline for the future
- Interviewing all canidaiates
- Creating specialized training just for the interns to grow and develop while here for the summer
- Main point of contact person with all interns
- Making and maintaining connections with area colleges for recruitment
- Established partnership with local community college to provide housing to interns that live out of the area

*Supervising HR department for 3 months while VP of HR out on leave*

Events assisted with
*Manufacturing day- assist with checking in over 500 students throughout the day
*United Way committee- serve on committee board to create donation activities throughout the week
