Being the part of the Global Group with 2 listed companies in the Bombay Stock Exchange, Gtl Limited and GTL Infra, the management gave me an opportunity to incorporate my experience in Solar and Renewables for implementing innovative solutions for the Tower Companies.

The telecom industry faces a huge challenge specifically in the rural areas and cities where there are huge power cuts, therefore they run on DG sets during cut outs that may lasts from 2-24 hours. Alternative energy is the best trade off sans DG sets and rising fuel prices.
We managed to successfully implement solar solutions in over 100s of Towers under the MNRE scheme.

The financial benefits through savings projected excellent IRR and NPV attracting investors

GTL has incorporated a new division for New Business Services in relation to the conventional Telecom Domain that GTL has been offering since 2 decades.

The division has 3 more departments , one of them being - SOLAR FARM MANAGED SERVICES+ RENEWABLES. I am the Development Heads for this particular department.

My team has taken our previous learnings from out Telecom business and applied to the management and EPC for Solar Farms to offer the best in EPC+ O&M + NOC + Overall Power Management in this portfoilo.

This is a new Industry to GTL but the Operations in this field are very similar to our telecom operations and we feel that Solar Projects are reather an extension of our busienss having experience in installing over 100 Solar Systems @Telecom site in the past 2 years.

It has been a pleasure to see the market and business growth gradually and in an organic manner in the Renewables industry.

My previous work experience in Solar (Middle-East), it has helped me to guage this market in India.

Earlier I was working as business Devp Manager , esp for Renewable energies and Sustainable Business Model for Telecom towers.

Since my time here I have realised how the Indian and global movement to wards the importance of Clean and Green future is increasingly growing.

Providing Renewable solutions like solar helps to reduce Diesel consumption and Sustainable business looks at increasing effective and efficient use equipments, manpower and monetary.

I have attended many conferences and seminars and presently I am also a Contract Account Manager
