“I want to think again of dangerous and noble things. I want to be light and frolicsome. I want to be improbable and beautiful and afraid of nothing as though I had wings.” Mary Oliver
This is a unique intiative that offers incredible arts and humanities events to the USC community and general public. This program is near and dear to my heart as I was a student volunteer and now serve as a staff member. Check out this video celebrating the first ten years of this dynamic program!
Developed and executed programmatic and logistical elements of a vast array of events that included visits from heads of state, museum exhibition openings, black tie dinners, conference luncheons, and symposia hosted by the Board of Regents, the Secretary, Under Secretaries, Museum Directors and other senior staff at Smithsonian museums, and research centers.
Through the LA County Arts Commission Internship, I worked closely with Skirball's Program staff in maintaining artist relations, databases, and ticketing for the annual Sunset Concerts series as well as researching and preparing for the fall film series in conjunction with the forthcoming exhibition Light & Noir: Exiles and Emigrés in Hollywood, 1933-1950.
