Diaspora Debates

Co-Founder & COO

Diaspora Debates is a Toronto-based organization that encourages the pursuit of knowledge in combination with a unique networking opportunity. We provide a platform for individuals to share their opinions, explore other viewpoints and learn from their peers. Through the medium of debate, we challenge you to be open to changing your mind, listen to different perspectives and defend your beliefs.

Our mandate is to provide a forum where individuals from diverse backgrounds can come together to discuss and deconstruct issues pertaining to diasporic communities in an engaging way.

We hope to reinforce our reputation as a community of educated, enlightened and open-minded individuals while exposing the next generation to strong role models in many different fields of expertise. We want to partner with other organizations that share this same mandate and emphasize collaboration between diasporic communities rather than competition.
