Rick's Crossroads Grille

As the hostess at this local family oriented restaurant I greeted customers, prepared clean utensils and menus, served customers beverages, refilled beverages, as well as removed dishes once customers were finished eating dinner. I also prepared a seating/table chart so it would be easy for the waitresses to remember their sections and table numbers. While working at this local restaurant I coincided with my high school Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) to provide the citizens of Lincoln, Alabama and surrounding areas a "Cajun Christmas Dinner". This community service project was a yearly tradition from December 2009 until I graduated high school in 2012. Serving members of my community taught me about the spirit of giving, putting others before myself, and how amazing it is to be the reason someone has a smile on their face. I believe it helped mold me into the caring person I am today.
