Director Marketing, Media and Communications

• Contribute to the strategy plan of the FFSL
• Develop and drive forward on the Marketing, Commercial Plan and strategy
• Develop and manage the quarterly marketing activity
• Drive commercial revenue through sponsorship, ticketing, advertising, merchandising, membership and TV
• Account management of all the marketing campaigns, ensuring that it is delivered successfully on time and within budget
• Drive the positive awareness of the FFSL brand through various programs
• Lead on the internal communication within & without the FFSL as well as be part of Corporate Governance committees such as Health and Safety
• Manage all aspect of media and public relations including taking a lead on crisis management within the FFSL
• Official spokesperson for the FFSL
• Prepare Board briefings for our Executive committee
• Develop an annual budget in the commercial, marketing, PR, CRM and communications areas of the Association and manage the budget on a monthly basis in association with the Finance department
• Work with the Leagues and other affiliates in order to drive communication, membership and revenue opportunities for the FFSL
• Work with communication agencies to drive quality and value for money on all our Marketing activities
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the wants and needs of our fans/consumers and using this to increase our marketing effectiveness
• Work with our PR and advertising teams in order to communicate positive stories and image of the FFSL brand
• Develop and implement the CRM strategy across the Association
• An active role in implementing lobbying plans including meeting local and national politicians
• Actively support federation policy and best practices in the area of security with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information
• Ensure and be fully aware of the need to safeguard sensitive customer information at all times, so that customers and people perceive FFSL to be a trustworthy brand.
