Owen Hughes Entertainments

I started the job upon leaving school. Initially my duties included general clerical work. Over the years I progressed to many various roles within the business. I gained vast experience with customer service in receptionist, telephone sales, and eventually was taught how to do manual book keeping. This included doing monthly invoicing, outgoings, in comings and VAT returns. I am very proficient in IT and gained certificates over the years.
As my Employer told me a few years ago he was going to be retiring within five years I decided to seek other temp jobs so that I was able to gain other experience within other fields of work.
I ended my employment in January this year but was also fortunate in the latter years to work for Owen Hughes Entertainments on a ad hoc basis, sometimes i would work two days a week, whilst other times I wouldn't go in for a month but then I would do a full week keeping accounts up to date etc.
Eventually I was trusted to solely manage the Business whilst my Employer was away on business or holidays. My time there over the 28 years was extremely rewarding and I feel fortunate to have been in continuous employment for so many years.
