"Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow" -Rukayat
My dream job, as of right now, would be a few things. I would like to be a Casemanager at World Relief or the International Rescue Committee in Atlanta. Another dream job would be working in the field of Middle Eastern Foreign Policy, as a diplomat or an employee of a think tank. Another would be a professional traveler of course.
Thoroughbred Country Tourism
October 2014 — Present
Thoroughbred Country refers to a region consisting of 4 counties in South Carolina which are Aiken, Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell. Thoroughbred Country Tourism is one of eleven state appointed tourism regions in South Carolina, sponsored by the Lower Savannah Council of Governments to promote tourism in the regions. A normal work day for me consists of updating our online calendar of regional events while also assembling then delivering our visitor guides. Each month I create an on-line newsletter which features major upcoming events and other helpful information for our partners. I also write story ideas for travel writers looking to visit the region. This job has improved my organizational and interpersonal skills. I have truly enjoyed my experience here.
