BCM Planet Dance

Assistant Manager

The renowned discothèque hired a team of two to produce six outdoor concerts with performers: Steve Aoki, Marvin Humes, Maxim (The Prodigy), Pendulum, Nervo and Eddie Halliwell. As an Assistant Manager I:

• Agreed to and managed a budget.

• Liaised with the designer to create the brand logo and organised the production of gig tickets and posters.

• Coordinated production suppliers.
• Organised security, first aid, and artist hospitality and transportation.

• Liaised with the night club and production suppliers to handle artist production riders and green room requirements. 

• Administrated and allocated event tickets and event information weekly. 

• Recruited a team of 15 to undertake sales and PR, coordinated their day to day requirements and staff briefings.
• Managed social media marketing; increasing Facebook ‘likes’ by 2500 in 4 months.
• Managed gig nights making sure the event ran smoothly by coordinating and leading the event team.


Festival Republic

Marketing Intern

The UK’s leading music festival organiser provided me with vast experience in promoting the award winning Reading, Leeds and Latitude festivals. During my internship I:

• Attended marketing meetings providing ideas and thoughts that assisted the team in creating marketing campaigns that helped achieve selling-out of all weekend tickets for all festivals.
• Updated the marketing team with additional acts creating their biographies and edited photos using Photoshop, which would be used for press releases, festival programmes, official festival websites and phone apps.
• Kept a company diary tracking and analysing press related to Festival Republic.
• Trained as a receptionist handling customer enquiries and switchboard.
• Helped organise Latitude’s offshoot events Longitude and The Book Club and Reading, Leeds and Latitude Festivals’ launch.

Mallorca Rocks

Event Promoter

The great success of Ibiza Rocks lead to the opening of Mallorca Rocks.
In the opening year of the concert venue I took on the following tasks:

• I became the event representative and settled relationships with the main areas in Mallorca establishing part of their current points of sales and managed over 100 relationships where private owned shops and the University of Baleares offered to promote 30+ weekly events throughout the two summers.
• Administrated and allocated the event tickets and information weekly.
• Helped with security and managed the VIP guest list and online ticketing at front desk at all live events.
