My research focused on international labor--particularly how organized (and unorganized) labor interacts with each other and coordinates acts of transnational solidarity.

Graduate Employee Organization

I transitioned the organizing committee from being a small group advocating on behalf of graduate workers to being integral to creating campus community and cohesion for all graduate students. During my tenure, we negotiated a new contract, fought for it to be implemented, and started the first successful Assembly of Stewards.
