This store was my biggest challenge to date, the store has 16 employees. My role was to performance manage, stock control, recruitment, manage shrinkage and loss, team morale and everything else that follows the title of general manager. When I first joined the store it was undergoing a £120,000 refurbishment, I had to take the store through the transformation. This tested my organisation skills as I had to orchestrate contractors and team members through every step of the transformation. As well as taking and leading training for the entire team to boost skill sets within the team.
