I designed and developed interactive systems, including the registration system for the CTIA conference. I was also responsible for the administration of the agency's network and other technology resources.
Ganxy aims to remove the friction which currently exists in content retail on the web. Ganxy has developed a suite of products to enable a closer connection between creators and consumers. Ganxy's products have been used by Mark Cuban, The Economist, Marriot, The Guardian, The Washington Post, Diversion Books, Mercury Ink, and best-selling authors Barbara Freethy and Bella André.
Firedoglake is one of the most-trafficked liberal political blog in the United States. I was responsible for designing and implementing all aspects of technology.
The Stimulist (no longer active) was a new type of web magazine, with a refreshing, optimistic, smart voice.
I led the design and development of a variety of custom CMS, data, and interactive systems for corporations and NGOs.
At ibiblio I developed Lyceum, a contemporary of and competitor to WordPress MU, offering a more advanced database schema and other competitive features. The software was used to power blog networks for organizations such as Johns Hopkins, Red Hat, and TeachForUs (blogs for Teach for America teachers).
As a result of my work on Lyceum, I was asked by O'Reilly to write a guide on the installation and customization of WordPress (unfortunately this was at the same time when I was moving and switching jobs, and the project never moved forward).
