BP WELLS SUBSEA EQUIPMENT SUPERVISOR Eng at DSS Rig BP ANGOLA
I worked for BP ANGOLA in the Greater Plutonio field in the block 18 project during the installation of the first XT installation from the Sedco Express rig, and on March 2007 I was assigned to work in the UK holding a position as the BP ANGOLA PSVM Wells Subsea Engineer to work in the BP Angola Programme project team based in Sunbury, London. My main roles during my assignment were:
Delivery Assurance on ROV MEL (Master Equipment List)
Provide ROV interface support to the wells trees and Wellheads Engineer.
Ensure all Wells equipment interfaces are identified.
Identify ROV interface with tooling supplier
Delivery Manager of the Completion and Work Over Riser, My responsibilities include the ownership of the Project Plan, support development of contract strategy for completion riser equipment and services, ensured OCTG team prepared riser tender documents, delivery schedules and cost estimates, ensured conditions in country for completion riser maintenance and handling are in place.
Created an integrated project plan and liaise with the Wells DMC (Materials and Cargo Coordinator) to co-ordinate equipment release and mobilisation from vendor in Aberdeen.
As the result the delivery of the completion and work over riser matched initial schedule plan and sent project plan to the project service team. Successfully co-ordinated the completion riser delivery plan. Riser delivered in time for start of operations.
Assist Wells Tree and Wellhead Subsea Engineer to point of handover to the execute team, Managed the tools needed to be in site from different suppliers (EXPRO, OCEANEERING, IMPROV) for the interface testing during the SIT in Leeds.
Responsible for Completion Landing String System, my responsibilities included to work closely with the CLS Delivery Engineer to deliver the CLS System
Presently I am working offshore in the rig Deep Sea Stavanger as BP Lead Subsea Supervisor (GtP Block-18) in rotational position for BP Angola BU.
I work for a Year in the Offshore Takula platform, during that phase I was going on the wells Jackets by helicopters every day with the field operators to record wells production data, testing individual wells, taking oil samples for lab test, participating in safety meetings, control of work and send weekly reports to my supervisors on the key points learning of the activities that I was involved.
After the period of training I was qualified as a Petroleum Engineer and started working in the office in the Malongo base in Cabinda and I was given responsibility of manage the production of 6 fields in the block 0, namely Malongo North, Malongo South, Kambala, Nemba, Livuite,Numbi respectively summing 150 wells including water injections wells.
I joined SONEFE, an electrical power station in Luanda, the capital's major electricity supplier. During my initial training I was appointed to the position of Electrical Project Engineer Assistant for new and existing power sub-station and Industrial areas in the capital. During my career at SONEFE I was involved directly in operational management, maintenance, Sub-station plant engineering, and commercial operations associated with construction of new electrical power station plant activities.
