Unit Leader Camp Is-Sho-Da

Was the head of one of camp's four units, supervised four to five counselors each week and their campers. Was also in charge of breaking my staff once a day, knowing where all my staff and campers were at all times in case of emergency. I held unit leader sign-up activities, educational programs where counselors could come and drop their campers off with me for a period to learn things about science and the wilderness.
Each week I was also in charge of the Wednesday overnight for the entire unit. This included planning a healthy meal for the girls, and teaching them general fire and camping skills allowing them to learn and have fun in safe environment. Lastly, I lead out of camp overnight trips with 8 to 10 girls and one counselor to go white water rafting and rock climbing.
