Develop strategies and products that assist with engaging/partnering with the government shareholder on initiatives and proposals with a provincial interest. Perform a quality assurance role (both in terms of technical accuracy, and quality of the writing) with respect to written materials developed for consumption by the government.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to leverage strategic buy-in for OLG's business plan, and mitigate reputational risk/conflict.
Directly produce briefing notes, issues notes, summary charts dealing with a broad range of technically complex financial, legal and politically contentious issues, where the subject matter which cuts across the lines of business lines, including lottery, gaming and horse racing.
Contribute to corporate brand building through identifying opportunities or risks for the corporation inherent in any interface with the public, stakeholders, the media and/or the government shareholder, and leverage those opportunities or mitigating reputational risks.
