ModernTribe designs, manufactures, and sells Judaica and Jewish gifts for the new generation of American Jews, helping them express and develop their Jewish identity.

ModernTribe has three brands: ModernTribe.com, design-forward Judaica; Pop Judaica, funny Jewish gifts; and No Limit Texas Dreidel, the game that crosses dreidel with Texas Hold'em poker (sold in store across the US, including Bed, Bath, and Beyond).

We manufacture about a dozen items, sell hundreds of products, serve thousands of customers, and touch hundreds of thousands of our community through our websites, blogs, and social networks.

Jewish Kids Groups

Steering Committee

Jewish Kids Groups is revolutionized Jewish education in Atlanta. It is an independent (synagogue free) Hebrew school for any family. It is expanding to offer Jewish Afterschool care, so that our public school (or private non-Jewish school) educated kids can have even more fun, exciting, meaningful Jewish connection.

Founder, Director

Since 2010, led grassroots effort to create a community of Atlanta’s Jewish social entrepreneurs. In 2012, secured 100K grant from a local foundation to create ProtéJ, an accelerator, with mentoring, training, promotion and fundraising support for the ventures. Designed and built accelerator program. Recruited seasoned mentors. Created a sold-out event, Shark Tank: ProtéJ Edition, with Bernie Marcus, Laurie Ann Goldman (Spanx), and Michael Kogon (Definition 6) as our “celebrity” sharks. Raised 29K for the ProtéJ ventures that evening.

Internal consultant to telecommunications businesses. Lead multi-functional and multi-departmental teams to collect, analyze, and present intelligence to help set marketing strategy and implementation. Consulted with Directors to Senior Vice Presidents who required quantitative information to make business decisions. Mined databases and built statistical models to predict and explain consumer behavior. Projects included Market Sizing, Marketing Program Evaluation including ROI Analyses, Customer Surveys, Propensity to Purchase Models, Vulnerabilty Models (customers dropping services or switching providers) and other analyses to direct marketing and product development.

Process leader of leadership assessment program that included 360 degree assessment, feedback coaching, and skill development. Lead field human resource managers in company-wide execution of program that included 2,000 leaders from Assistant Store Managers to CEO. Supervised three professional-level interns and an assistant.

Developed conflict management consulting business. Created content of services as well as business plan, partnerships, marketing strategy, financial budgets and projections. Created and validated employee attitude survey to assess the need for organizational conflict management, designed in-house dispute resolution systems, and conducted training in conflict management and mediation skills. Sold and executed over $100,000 of consulting services for a Fortune 500 company. Trained national sales force on selling consulting services. Helped secure five-year, 3.7 million dollar government contract for training and alternative dispute resolution services.
