As a Sales Manager for Perfumania, I was directly responsible company procedures were adhered to on a daily basis ensuring the smooth operation of the business. It was my responsibility to motivate my staff to exceed company sales goal on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. I was held accountable for scheduling within the parameters of a specific payroll budget, payroll transmissions, inventory control, security of the store, accounting of store funds, sales goals versus actual daily sales, including reviewing all returns, exchanges, and discounts for accuracy, as well as all of the day to day paperwork and filing. I ensured that my staff, as well as myself, were aware of and working to attain the daily, weekly, and monthly sales goal set by the company. I was responsible for scheduling, payroll budget, inventory control, security of the store, money handling procedures, monthly progress reports and training for my staff, and all of the filing and paperwork that took place in my store.

Assistant to District Adminstator

I worked alongside of the District Admin and District managers to ensure that the 51 stores were familiar with and operating according to the newly placed standard operating procedures, I visited all stores to set up and instruct managers on the new filing system. I answered phones, filed paperwork and assisted with new hire procedures and paperwork. I was also directly responsible for overseeing the contracts for hundreds of employees signing up for a new wireless company offering a discount rate for employee lines. I worked directly with three outside sales representatives to ensure the smooth transition of these wireless activations.
