ORGANIZE

Co-Founder

I am the co-founder of ORGANIZE, a non-profit leveraging technology, open-data, and behavioral economics to increase the amount of organ donations in the US. ORGANIZE is working with state and federal government offices, and some of the world’s largest brands and tech companies, to rebuild the US organ donation system.

We recently launched the first ever portal that can drive registrations in 40 states as well as other policy based initiatives to facilitate innovation in the space - for example, we were awarded an Innovator in Residence position in the Department of Health and Human Services.

We’ve been fortunate to generate a lot of attention for our efforts which is helping us enlist others: We received a $1MM Prize from Verizon as the country’s top healthcare start-up. We were listed on INC Magazine's 35Under35, O Magazine tagged ORGANIZE as one of the top healthcare breakthroughs of 2014, and we were described as "the company to end the organ donation crisis" by FastCo.

Career

Press Play Production

Founder, President

I founded PressPlay, a boutique content creation firm that comes up with cool ways to make people give a sh*t about social issues. PressPlay has two primary silos: strategically advising companies, brands, UHNWs, NGOs, & celebrities on how to build movements around their missions and content creation which includes TV shows, films, PSAs and events. The activation campaigns that came out of PressPlay have helped raise over $20M for organizations within PressPlay's portfolio.

MTV

Creator, Executive Producer, & Director

I created and sold television shows to MTV and Showtime. One of our bigger hits, Exiled!, in which I served as an Executive Producer (Viacom's youngest), took spoiled American teenagers to live with indigenous cultures around the world. It aired in 140+ countries and was one of the networks highest rated TV shows in the years in which it aired.

Career

United Nations

Education and Media Specialist, UN Works Programme

As the youngest American to work at the United Nations during my time with the organization, I served as a Media and Education Specialist where we created multi-platform programming that co-branded the UN with Fortune 500 companies, reputable celebrities and international institutions. I served as a UN Producer for the Diary of Jay-Z: Water for Life (MTV) and brought the celebrity studded (Angelina Jolie, Michael Douglas & Susan Sarandon) "Whats Going On?!" (Showtime) series into classrooms, making it the second best-selling education product nationwide.
