For me, it's all about helping people - random acts of kindness, it takes a village, coexist. No one in this big wide world should feel alone.

I thought I wanted to be an attorney - until I realized that as a paralegal I can help just as many people without the stress of being a lawyer! I started off as a legal administrative assistant and court clerk, went on to graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Paralegal Studies with an emphasis in family law and mediation and currently find myself with part-time work as a paralegal focusing on social security disability. I work on the front end now, listening to client's stories and being a resource. It's never too late to learn new subjects of law.

Me, Only Older

I believe a photograph can remind me of who I am and who I have become. It is so easy to lose track in this helter skelter life that sometimes a snapshot of where I am at that particular moment is enough to remind me that I continue to grow and change each passing minute of each passing day and I like who I have become.

Bacheors of Science, Paralegal Studies

Graduating with a four year degree is what I am most proud of. No one in my immediate family has a Bachelors Degree and I believe that since I was older when I went back to school I appreciated the hard work it took more than if I gone in my late teens/early twenties. Working full time, raising kids by mysef and earning a degree really showed me what I was made of.
