Director of Marketing & Business Intelligence

The mobile payments industry is one of the most fascinating in tech today. There’s so much opportunity for smart companies to simplify and disrupt the existing experience and processes.

I’m fortunate enough to lead business intelligence for a pioneer in the industry, GoPago.

As with any startup, I do everything - from brand evangelist to marketer to business developer to strategy. Some of the work I have been most excited by include:

- Defining business strategy, supported by data-driven analytics, during company pivot. Built forecasting models, target market definition, competitive intelligence and partnership development used by various teams throughout the organization
- Building tools and playbooks needed to bring visibility to negotiations for business development by quantifying complex card processing and interchange fees
- Identify partnership opportunities, define pricing and deal structure, and develop sales messaging and building partnerships with strategic clients
- B2C and B2B marketing strategy, analytics and messaging; leading marketing in SF to deliver sales materials, complete website update and engage with media for sourcing. Significantly improved search standing through SEO and drove traffic through media buys.
