Outside Sales Representative

Under direct supervision, the Solution Sales Representative is accountable
for increasing sales within Control Point Solutions Customers which
includes CMI, VMI, Vending and E-Comm Solutions.
Under direct supervision, studies MSC’s solutions, products, services, sales techniques, and culture. Supports the implementation MSC Vendor Managed Inventory programs at customer
locations to enhance revenue generation and customer retention.
Identifies and develops new prospects within assigned customers, recognizes and pursues business growth opportunities that contribute to customer, branch, and corporate sales goals. Updates and inputs all information regarding prospects and opportunities in CRM (Customer Relationship
Evaluates and recommends opportunities for Solution/Spot Buy growth to BSM and
OSA while documenting this information in the CRM.
Under the guidance of Solution Sales Mentors, BSTS, and ISS, assist with
customer issues, increase product knowledge, and learns about MSC’s Culture.
Builds customer relationships via exceptional levels of service to ensure
customer satisfaction and retention. Leverages relationships to grow
sales and solutions within established customers. Logs all events daily within the CRM Tool.
Fosters the MSC Culture in the branch and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC’s Mission. Participates in special projects and preforms additional duties as required. Logs all event daily event activity with in CRM utilizing iPad.
