I'm passionate about intentional problem solving and purposeful collaboration. I'm a design thinker and market researcher - committed to decision making that is grounded in a deep understanding of customer needs.
"Be Bold or Italic. Never Regular."
As a passionate Design Thinker, my goal is to educate and empower others to utilize the methods of Human Centered Design. I love helping people solve business problems (i.e., innovation, problem solving, planning, etc.) in an intentional, impactful way.
While fishing for others may be easy in the short term, it's often unsustainable in the long term.
I am a LUMA Certified Lead Instructor of Human Centered Design. This allows me to help others build capabilities around problem framing, facilitation, planning and synthesis for themselves.
As a Strategist, I advise strategic decision makers by facilitating insights-based, collaborative learning workshops with cross-functional and executive teams.
As a Market Researcher, I guide development of brand strategies, product improvements and service innovations through design thinking and consumer insights.
My husband and I bought a 100+ year old house. Over 5 years, we refinished the original hardwood floors, remodeled a bathroom, fought invading skunks and woodpeckers, protected it from harsh Michigan winters and tended the garden during the beautiful Michigan summers. My heart is happy when I'm crafting, gardening or DIYing.
Best thing about an MBA? The way it broadens your business knowledge and skills...in ways you never would have expected!
North Carolina has my heart and my time at UNC played a huge part in that.
