Facilitated the Acquisition and Contract Management capability build team, utilizing Design for Lean Six Sigma techniques. The results of this effort led to the development of a robust system to handle contracting demands placed on NSWC Crane from the program office.

Facilitated root-cause analysis and FMEA usage with the Executive Leadership Team to identify root causes for base-wide compliance issues and creating mitigation strategies. Results of these efforts included an outstanding follow-on assessment that high-lighted the capability of NSWC Crane to respond quickly to demands.

Attained NAVSEA Black Belt Certification in September 2011.

Responsible for implementing Continuous Process Improvement within the command.

Executed one event with the Aviation Life Support Systems Division that resulted in a reduction in floor space, reduction in inventory and reduction in cycle time. These efforts resulted in improved responsiveness of the ALSS division to the combat units participating in Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.

Co-instructed Green Belt training for eight personnel in order to establish a core team to implement continuous improvement within the organization.

Responsible for identifying and preventing defects and inspecting aeronautical equipment for H-60, H-53, P-3 and C-2 aircraft.

Responsible for managing over $1M in inventory, managing qualifications enabling personnel to safely work on and around the aircraft.
