Fleet Manager / Dock Forman / Equipment Operator

In-season duties include but aren't limited to; manage and coordinate fishing vessel to tender fleet operations. Oversee offload crew and fleet offloading logistics at shore plant dock. Coordinate and relay information between Corperate management, fishing and tenter vessels, shore plant manager and the offload dock leads. Position operates offload dock and equipment as well as an abundance of stored fishing fleet equipment in offseason. My position blends into maintenance department during the offseason or when my services/ skills are required. Maintenance duties include, among many things, responsible for snow removal using bobcat and loader(966 cat). upgrading and performing routine services on the facility it self and many varying types of machines and equipment. From extremely fragile roe extracting and sorting machines, to 75hp electric sumbmersible pumps & tandem 60hp liquid ring fish pumps, to forklifts, seine power skiffs, heavy equipment, cranes, to carpentry, painting, electrical, marine and auto mechanics, concrete work, HDPE pipe fusing, some aluminum and steel welding, then everything in between. Position often requires travel to other company facilities throughout the west coast as different fishing seasons progress. Also perform duties as facility equipment/ crane operator, and forklift training/ safety instructor. Trained to be on the facility emergency response team.
