I'm in charge of all communications efforts for The Tech Challenge and The Tech Awards, the two signature programs of the Tech Museum. This includes social media, web content, press relations, video creation, and media strategy.
-Build, re-write, and organize web site
- Develop compelling stories to show the impact of the two programs using video, social media, and written communication
-Build social media presence and create strong online audiences
-Devise and execute pitching strategy to win earned media coverage
-Create a strategy for building relationships with former program participants to build communities or proud participants
-Management of event production for the Tech Challenge and the Tech Awards

-Create market reports to show impact to sponsors

Producer, 5, 6, and 11 PM Newscast

Created a strategy and cohesive action plan for a primetime newscast. Created compelling news stories. Executed proactive promotional strategies. Managed teams of editors and writers. Managed the assignment desk, dispatching reporters, monitoring wires, and identifying breaking and developing news.

• Addressed and resolved on-air problems by developing and implementing daily post show review.
• Promoted the 6 PM newscast, reversing prior history of zero promotional initiatives.
• Selected the best stories for promotion leveraging targeted demographic data.
• Grew the 5 PM newscast from #3 to #1 by launching of new newscast segments tailored directly to the large lead-in audience from The Ellen Show and developed a proactive news promotional strategy.
• Created live events for news stories, including Proposition 8, Osama Bin Laden’s death, and the Asiana Air Crash.
• Led comprehensive coverage of the 2012 election and 2012 Olympic Games.
• Successfully produced up to 3 shows daily.
