Directed sales efforts for all groups and meetings; generated reports / forecasts for past and future business to ensure achievement of all predetermined sales goals. Participated in familiarization trips and industry tradeshows. Hosted Chamber and Visitor and Convention Bureau partnership events to increase resort awareness and generate leads. Built relationships with key customers and added personal touches to sales process such as site tours, hand-delivering amenities, writing thank you cards, and following-up after events with phone calls. Increased revenue by 21% year over year with a 15% increase in rooms booked, by introducing prospective clients to products and maintaining relationships with long-term clientele.
