As Social Media Producer for Zodiak Media UK I am the central point of contact for all social media strategy and training throughout our UK Production companies. My role includes:
•Managing and updating the Zodiak Media corporate sites (zodiakmedia.com, LinkedIn, Facebook & Twitter) including international press.
•Developing and implementing social media strategies and the subsequent content for new and existing programmes throughout the local production companies using software including Basecamp and Slack.
•Compliant live tweeting from production accounts during broadcast to engage with the audience, boost conversations and build the brand message of the production.
•Training assigned social media managers within production teams in order to manage or support the social media feeds for the production. This includes providing guidelines, workshops, one-to-one training in order to create an effective and compliant campaign.
•Supporting casting via social media channels with training, approval procedures, asset creation or outsourcing and creative direction.
•Using Brandwatch, Hootsuite data, Google Analytics and native insights to provide statistics, feedback and analysis of social media campaigns (both in house and run by broadcasters) where possible in order to inform recommissions and future pitching.
•Research and analysis of available analytics software in order to provide most effective data and support for pitches and recommission discussions.
•Building relationships with broadcasters and other parties that can facilitate a greater online presence for Zodiak Media content, this year this has included E4, C4, BBC Three, BBC Food and YouTube talent.
•Ensuring content created complies with OfCom, advertising standards and broadcasters’ regulations.
I also liaise when necessary with international productions companies to brief them on our social media strategy and their successes when a format has been sold to another territory.
