In 2013 I was approached by the founders of acidstag.com, a popular Australian music news website featuring indie, electro and disco music, to join their small team of contributing writers. I continue to contribute album and gig reviews of both rising and well established musicians and groups.

Key deliverables have included development of annual marketing plans; collaborating with Research team on development and implementation of a new consumer segmentation model; development of performance dashboards to highlight campaign performance for senior stakeholders; leading performance reviews of all key Marketing Campaigns to drive cross-pollination of campaign learnings; project management dashboards to drive improved campaign management; marketing budget governance and management to close an average 30% variance to budget to 0% by financial year end; and providing regular insights and analysis of market, customer and competitors through to the team to drive greater customer focus.

Graphic Arts Services Association of Australia

Marketing Communications Director

Worked with the organisation's staff and Executive to develop the corporate marketing message, and appropriate channels for distribution. Responsible for creative work and communications distributed to 150+ association members and 13,000+ industry contacts.

Proactively managed relationships with corporate sponsors and attracted new sponsors to the association. Coordinated 20+ association events annually, including supporting event management of PODi AppForum. Launched inaugural PrintComm Expo and Printovation Awards, attracting over 50 exhibitors in first year and exceeding revenue targets for both events.

Designed, coded and managed website relaunch on Joomla platform, including subsite for Printovation Awards. Drove the transition of the association to eCRM, launching and managing the database and web-based CRM tool. Developed and managed the association's social media strategy with particular focus on Twitter and LinkedIn.

Student Lounge Representative

Led a 4-person team to distribute promotional material and publicise events, in order to market the Student Services Australia (SSA) website on campus at the University of New South Wales (UNSW).

Worked closely with Student Marketing Australia (a division of SSA) to develop and manage student-targeted campaigns for major clients including the Commonwealth Bank.

Significantly increased the profile of the Student Lounge website on campus; recruited over 1300 new members, and helped to drive student traffic to the SSA website.

Collated student data and feedback and provided it to SSA in a professional, succinct manner.

Learned the benefit of building, maintaining and leveraging strong interpersonal relationships, and gained a great insight into the demands of institutional clients.
