BA, Political Science

I went to visit a career councelor during Freshman year, to help decide what major to choose. I told him I wanted to be an activist or humanitarian. He said there was no major for that and asked me what classes I was most enjoying. I told him "Political Science and Sociology", so he said that was perfect; to major in one and minor in the other and that is what I did. I ended up falling more in love with Sociology over the years, but didn't change majors because I wanted to graduate on time. It turned out that I was just two courses away from a double major in the end. I have since tried to stop underestimating myself. I should have double majored, but I didn't even consider it. I regret that, but I may still get my BA in Sociology at some point if I have the money and time.
