Built and lead the cross functional team consisting of five UBC/McMaster Students and four OMEY Shanghai employees to re-launch OMEY’s declining e-commerce platforms on Alibaba’s Tmall and its in-house jemy.com platform
Consolidated e-commerce platforms with increasing focus in product delivery and user experience of the websites
Successfully reversed downward trend in conversion rate through specific, targeted changes in product/service to consumers by making the websites easier to navigate and more pleasant to view through in-depth analysis of data collected from Google Analytics and Ali/Baidu Data Analytics over the course of 12 months
Implemented additional revenue streams/consumer acquisition channels through non-core products such as toothpaste.
Resulted in clear improvements on jemy.com (now omey.com.cn) which saw weekly weighted average conversion rate more than doubled to 2.5% from 1%, monthly active visitors, page view per visit since re-launch have also increased
Currently collaborating the building of OMEY’s mobile platform that’s on track to launch during the first half of 2016 through global collaboration between Shanghai, Paris, Seoul and UBC teams to meet the increasing mobile demand by consumers in China, South Korea and EU that is projected to make up over 80% of all future web traffic once launched
