Americans for UNFPA is an NGO focused on building political and financial support within the United States for the work of the United Nations Population Fund. The 7 Billion Actions Campaign was launched by UNFPA in 2011 as a worldwide effort to mark the world's population reaching 7 billion people. 7 Billion Actions' focus is to mobilize the world's population to address 7 key issues: poverty, gender equality, youth, aging, urbanization, environment and reproductive health and rights.

• Acted as a partnerships liaison for UNFPA's 7 Billion Actions Campaign by working with public and private partnerships including those with IBM and National Geographic
• Helped to enhance public and private partnerships in order to procure programming and design services from IBM, a dedicated National Geographic issue (October 2011) to the core values of the 7 Billion Actions Campaign

• Represented UNFPA at UN inter-governmental meetings, negotiations, briefings, including the General Assembly,its committees and ad hoc working groups; the Economic & Social Council and its subsidiaries, including in particular all discussions and preparations towards the high-level General Debate and Millennium Development Summit
• Wrote reports and analysis of meetings and negotiations assigned for coverage at the United Nations
• Performed other assigned duties to enable the Section effectively carry out its mandate, including the organization of the Office Management Plan, provision of support for the 28th annual United Nations Population Award, and assistance during the convening of the Executive Board comprised of member states
• Supported the UNFPA delegation to the high-level Fourth United Nations Conference on Least Developed Countries (LDC-IV) through the assembling of travel itineraries, organizing the agenda for the Executive Director, and the collection and preparation of delegates’ information in order to obtain accreditation for the Conference

N.G.O Vidigal Feliz is based and focused in a slum community (Vidigal) located in the Southern Zone of Rio de Janeiro. The organization seeks to improve infrastructure in Vidigal through community programs which are vital to the development and progress of the area, as they bring with them inherent social and economic benefits.

• Conducted research into potential community programs for Favela Vidigal, some of the programs included a recycling-to-art initiative where commonly found items such as glass and plastic bottles were turned into art by local children after school in an effort to deter involvement in local gang activity.
• In order to garner interest from an international audience, I assisted with the translation of text from Portuguese to English
• Administrative tasks such as managing correspondence

The Genocide Prevention Network is an Israeli-based think tank focused on researching genocide and publishing work in the hopes of preventing future tragedies.

• Analyzed rhetoric used by past and present leaders to promote and/or commit genocide
• Compiled research on past genocides and human rights violations for a website and future publications
• Developed historical timelines and maintained up-to date information for the files of various “hotspot” countries
• Researched for and reviewed “Can we Prevent Genocide by Preventing Incitement?” written by Hebrew University Professor Elihu Richter for future publication
