Hey Iris

Owner, Blogger

Blogging has always been a part of my life as a way to share my thoughts and worries, my life and my stories. Everything I've ever been able to do is because of my blog and the people I've met through it. I've learned how to interact with others, how to reach out, and how to take better photos. Everything I've ever needed for my blog, I've done myself. And that is in invaluable lesson in self-motivation.

Ingraham High School

High School

One of the few high schools in Seattle to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, Ingraham was a place where I started discovering who I was and who I wanted to be. The rigorous program taught me how to learn, not just what. Surrounded by smart, different people meant I always could improve.

Marbèlle London

Social Media Editor

My boss was in London, I was in Seattle. We had Skype calls every Sunday to discuss the plan for the next week. I learned how to manage my time with school, a blog, and this job. I learned the ropes to social media, collection promotion, research, and marketing with little prior experience. Most of all, I learned just how much work was put into creating a prosperous social media and how difficult it can be to communicate a vision in your head. And that's when I learned I didn't want to work in social media.
