Brand Manager for a Premium Denim Company from Italy, located in the Contemporary Designers Room within the Menswear department at Harrods. The Store had decided to give a greater exposure to the Brand since last year’s great results, and I have selected me to Manage it since then. It is a reasonably high priced product (when compared to other top-sellers in the market, even in Harrods), yet I have still secured exceedingly great performances throughout the year.

Apart from raising Brand Awareness within the UK and International market, I have also participated in the Buying Department decisions for both past collections, providing the insight and feedback needed to ensure that we have the right product at all times to supply the increasing demand from our customers.

+ Driven the Brand to great results, up to a record of 760% increase in sales compared to last year figures;
+ Successfully clienteling with some of the store’s Highest Spending Customers, achieving an increase of 20-30% in sales each month;
+ Achieved excellence in service, with a 100% Secret Guest Shop average;
+ Received several instances of praise from customers (sent to Managers and the Store Director);
+ Reduced customer complaints by 70% in the department by actively offering and taking charge of After-sales services for all my customers;
+ Achieved top of the Menswear Division KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) results, providing the high professional standards that Harrods demands;

Brand Manager - G-Star

Section Supervisor position within Harrods Menswear Denim Department. Apart from being selected to be the Brand Manager for G-Star within the room, I was also in charge of managing other brands such as: Nixon, Natural Selection, Nudie, Acne, Adriano Goldschmied, Levis Vintage Clothing, J Brand, and a few others;

+ Assisted Newcomers and Senior staff members to improve the performance of the team as a whole, training, providing solutions and tackling issues at hand;
+ Cooperating with the Buying Team to improve sales across all Brands in the room, focusing on how to improve figures on both good and bad performances;
+ Participated in the testing and development of Clienteling tools for Harrods, helping to improve it to all Harrods’ employees;
+ Participated in several Learning and Development Workshops provided by Harrods, such as: Maximise the Sale, Understand Your Customer, Lead the Sale;

I have assisted all the accounts that Lunch PR works with. This includes several titles (many of them reaching the first place in Sales Charts in the UK) for big worldwide publishers, including: Bethesda; Codemasters; Deep Silver; UTV Ignition; Team17; and a few others.

+ Contacting and maintaining relations with clients, journalists and other press members - from the biggest vehicles in the Media to the smallest ones as well;
+ Produced daily internal reports on coverage and reach of our efforts;
+ Designed presentations to be presented back to our clients, showing what coverage we have achieved from all sources and what were their highlights;
+ Creation and Design of Community events and promotions with the biggest Gaming websites in the UK and the US such as IGN, Eurogamer, Gamespot, and many others;
+ Office and Special Event presentations of finished products to the press - such as the massive Eurogamer Expo that takes place in Earl’s Court every year (65k attendees), where I have assisted extensively with the releases of major titles from Bethesda, for both Skyrim and RAGE in that year (with more than 20 million copies sold worldwide).

Samarqand Restaurant

Host / Events Manager

SamarQand is a Restaurant in the Marylebone area, a huge and expensive endeavour to bring Central Asian cuisine to London in a luxury environment. I was invited to this project from its very beginning due to a great past working experience with the General Manager involved. I actually started off as a Waiter, but soon got invited from the Directors to become the Host and Events Manager.

+ Planned almost all the events of the venue for more than 100 attendees per night, providing communication and support between all areas from the beginning to the end;
+ Developed the System used for Reservations from scratch, using Microsoft Excel sheets, online Cloud Storage services and plain pen and paper - and it was a success, saving money to the business and still keeping it simple;
+ Training new Staff: everything from Point of Sale systems to the actual service;
+ Took part in meetings with Management and Directors, providing insight on how to improve the business, new ideas or feedback on their decisions;
+ Designed most of the Printed and Online media for the Restaurant, while also helping to develop and maintain the Social Media promotion efforts;
