Lead Enterprise Supply Chain's (ESC) development of a global sourcing strategy which integrates both sustainability and supplier diversity into the supplier selection process. Work with sourcing leaders to develop specific action plans increase Tier 1/Tier 2 spend opportunities as well as ensure that all suppliers understand the importance of supply chain accountability relative to both the environment and human rights. Current role includes being a SME on Supply Chain sustainability and the adoption and implementation of a corporate responsibility questionnaire used with all suppliers currently within the supply chain. Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messages and best practices in developing a strategic plan for inclusion in the community, marketplace and in the employee workforce. Collaborate with national certification and government agencies with the joint focus of helping diverse business owners build capacity, operate globally, and create strategic short and long term business plans which lead to sustainable businesses and long term business growth. Develop workshop content for both internal and external use in educating all stakeholders on the need to incorporate and evaluate sustainability as part of the supplier evaluation process. Partner with the Supplier Relationship Management team and Risk and Compliance teams as needed to update existing practices and evaluate areas for review. Lead efforts to coordinate overall supplier diversity and sustainability as an integrated function of Citi's global sourcing process via a strategic network of champions in EMEA, LATAM, and AP. Finalizing white papers with the intent of implementation as policies in the areas of Paper, GHG, and IT Hardware.
