Cashier, Customer Service Representative, Stocker, Supervisor, and Assistant Manager

I worked on a register and handle a large amount of money on a daily basis when I began working at Shoprite. Then I was promoted to Customer Service Representative within 3 months of first beginning employment. I attended customers problems when any issue was to come up such as; fixing any mistakes with pricing on items, locating items in store, handling issues with credit cards and I always made sure customer left completely satisfied. I trained newly hired employees with working on a register and how to follow procedure and protocols. 11 months after previous promotion, I began working on stocking shelves and coolers, counting and organizing inventory. When necessary I would be requested to help out with previous positions whenever requested, for example when short-handed on Holidays, Employee call-offs, termination of unqualified employees and needed to complete rest of ex-employee shift. After 7 months of being a stocker, I was called into Office by District Manager & Human Resources Manager, offered supervisor position. I accepted the position where I trained new employees, handled ordering for my store, checking invoices from vendors, Key holder, responsible for opening or closing the store depending on what shift I was working and setting up the Security System. 10 months later, June of 2013, I was promoted to Assistant Manager. I worked along the manager to make sure sales were meeting the quota, scanned the invoices into our system, and scanned items, made sure inventory is correct. Handled and assigned proper punishments for writes up for employee's failure to follow procedure or shortages with registers. I consulted the manager on any issues or improvements that can be made in the store. Attended Meetings when manager was not able to attend
