In addition to the clerical duties described in the previous position; I processed payroll weekly, alerted team members of missing punches on their time sheets, communicated training needs, reviewed job applications and scheduled interviews. As I became more experienced in HR, I scheduled and ran all orientations for new team members, coordinated new team member training schedules, and ensured a successful on-boarding experience for all new team members. I also assisted team members with resources to get the most out of the benefits that Target offers their team. In August 2012, I had the opportunity to be temporary Human Resources Team Leader while my Executive Team Leader of HR went on leave. During that time I collaborated with the Store Team Leader and ran Human Resources for Target in Augusta. I was in charge of all seasonal hiring, planning fun events for our busiest time of the year, coordinating food land for Black Friday Weekend, and assisting with seasonal reduction once our busiest time had ended.
